[Really, it’s okay to say you missed me…]
Oh, hey there! Yes, I took a two-week hiatus from this blog, but now I’m back! In fact, I took a hiatus from the entire Internet, in other words an actual vacation. Really, email can wait, and when you see where we were, I’m sure you’ll understand. Behold:

This was it, the luxury South Pacific cruise, and it was awesome! We began and ended in Pape’ete, Tahiti, and sailed to Huahine, Taha’a, Bora Bora, and Moorea. I have spent a lot of time in the tropics, but this was incredible. Check out the hue of blue on that lagoon!
The entire trip was full of color–vibrant, living color–and to fully describe everything will take more than one post, but guess what? I’ll keep writing. What I most want to say is that it does a person good to disconnect for a little while. We all need to do it, and I promise your email thread and your Twitter feed will still be there when you get back. Try it; you’ll be glad you did. You don’t have to go to Tahiti to do it, either. Any kind of a trip will work. Do it, then send me an email and tell me how refreshed you are and how much your perspective has changed. Oh, and above all else, please don’t hesitate to send some pics!
